Back to Basics: Yoga Fundamentals 4 week series 

- Deepen your understand of fundamental yoga poses and breath practices to better support you in open level classes

- This workshop is for ANYONE-- New to yoga OR do you practice yoga and often ask yourself "am I doing this right?" 

- Each week focuses on a different category of poses.  We will discuss the proper mechanics of the poses and the variety of ways you can execute them using props and creativity.  

- My goal is that folks will leave this series feeling more comfortable to attend a vinyasa class or better understand the way poses should feel in their body! 

Are you new to yoga or looking to better understand the poses you so often do in live or online classes?  "Back to Basics" is a 4 week series to breakdown and rebuild fundamental yoga poses so that you can practice safer, stronger and more grounded in any class.  Each week will focus on a different category of poses and there will be plenty of time and space to ask questions, receive personal attention and discover the unique way a pose forms in your body.   

Week 1: Sun Salutations

Week 2: Standing poses

Week 3: Balance poses & Inversions

Week 4: Seated poses, breathwork and restoration

our hope is that by the end of the month you will feel more confident and liberated when attending a vinyasa class or practicing at home!  

*No prior experience with yoga is necessary.
